Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

• 1.1. Binding Agreement: Accessing the Portal or submitting an application for school affiliation constitutes a legally binding agreement between the Applicant Institution and the Bureau.
• 1.2. Authority: The individual registering or submitting applications on behalf of an educational trust, society, Section 8 company, or school warrants that they possess full legal authority to bind the institution to these Terms.
• 1.3. Eligibility: Affiliation services are intended solely for registered educational entities, management trusts, societies, and authorized school personnel who comply with relevant national and state educational regulations.

2. Portal Account & Security

• 2.1. Account Registration: To access affiliation services, applicants must create an official portal account providing accurate and complete institutional information.
• 2.2. Credential Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username, password, and OTPs). Any action taken through your account will be deemed authorized by your institution.
• 2.3. Unauthorized Access: You agree to notify the Bureau immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized access to your portal account.

3. Accuracy of Data & Compliance Standards

• 3.1. Duty of Honesty: The Applicant School guarantees that all data, certificates, land deeds, building safety approvals, Fire NOCs, state approvals, and staff details uploaded to the Portal are authentic, true, and up to date.
• 3.2. Zero Tolerance for Fraud: Submission of forged, altered, misleading, or fraudulent documentation will result in:
  • Immediate rejection or cancellation of the affiliation application.
  • Permanent blacklisting of the trust, society, and key office bearers from the Portal.
  • Forfeiture of all fees paid.
  • Initiation of appropriate legal proceedings where applicable.
• 3.3. Ongoing Compliance: Granted affiliation status is contingent upon continuous adherence to the Bureau’s operational, infrastructural, and academic guidelines, including periodic compliance audits and renewals.

4. Application Process & Inspection

• 4.1. Submission Acknowledgement: Submission of an online application does not guarantee the grant of affiliation. Affiliation is granted solely upon successful verification, document evaluation, and physical or virtual inspection.
• 4.2. Inspection Scheduling: The Bureau reserves the right to schedule panel inspections (physical or remote) at its discretion. The Applicant School must provide complete, safe, and transparent access to school premises, records, and personnel during inspections.

5. Fees & Payment Terms

• 5.1. Fee Structure: All applicable application fees, inspection charges, processing fees, and annual affiliation fees are displayed on the Portal and are payable through authorized digital payment gateways.
• 5.2. Non-Refundability: All application, processing, and inspection fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether the application is approved, deferred, rejected, or withdrawn by the applicant.
• 5.3. Taxes: All fees quoted on the Portal are subject to applicable government taxes (e.g., GST), which will be levied at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• 6.1. Ownership: All content on this Portal—including text, graphics, logos, rating frameworks, evaluation criteria, software, and digital certificates—is the exclusive intellectual property of the Bureau.
• 6.2. Limited License: Affiliated institutions are granted a non-transferable, revocable license to display the Bureau’s affiliation badge or crest strictly in accordance with brand usage guidelines.
• 6.3. Restrictions: You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit any software or proprietary assessment framework provided on the Portal without explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

• 7.1. Service "As-Is": The Portal and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• 7.2. Operational Losses: The Bureau shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from portal downtime, application rejection, delay in inspection schedules, or operational disruption of the school.
• 7.3. Third-Party Services: The Bureau is not liable for issues arising from third-party payment gateways, external document verification bodies, or network disruptions.

8. Suspension & Termination

• 8.1. Termination by Bureau: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your portal account, withhold inspection results, or revoke affiliation status immediately if:
  • You breach any provision of these Terms.
  • Non-compliance with safety or infrastructural guidelines is detected.
  • False statements or misrepresentations are identified.
• 8.2. Survival: Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, non-refundability, and governing law shall survive any termination of service.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• 9.1. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• 9.2. Jurisdiction: Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.

10. Modifications to Terms

The Bureau reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Portal after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
